Park Introduction:

The Health Science and Technology Park is an organization managed by professional experts, with the primary goal of increasing wealth in society by promoting a culture of innovation and constructive competition among park-affiliated companies and knowledge-based institutions, with a focus on health-related technologies. To achieve this objective, the Technology Park drives and manages the flow of knowledge and technology among universities, R&D institutes, private companies, and the market, and facilitates the growth of innovation-driven companies through business incubators. The park also provides other appropriate services along with high-quality workspaces and facilities.

Shiraz University of Medical Sciences is recognized as one of the largest medical universities in the country in terms of human resources and possesses a comprehensive research, innovation, and technology ecosystem, including 64 specialized research centers and institutes, an innovation and acceleration center, and 6 specialized incubators covering information technology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, herbal medicine and traditional medicine, and stem cells. With the official launch of the park, the final link in the university's technology ecosystem was completed.

Shiraz Health Science and Technology Park is a university-affiliated park operating under the structure of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. As the final link in the university's technology ecosystem, it successfully obtained its license from the Supreme Council for the Expansion of Medical Sciences Universities in the year 1399 (Iranian calendar). Based on the resolution of the University Board of Directors dated January , 2022 , 17 hectares of land were allocated at the Shahid Doran Campus for the development of the park's infrastructure. Additionally, workshop, production, and office spaces totaling 2,700 square meters were inaugurated in December 2022 in the former International Campus building of the university.
